- Unexpectedly charming neighborhood with convenient thriving local businesses – Lenny’s ethnic food store where we could buy hard to find ingredients as well as pantry staples/fresh fruit. A1 Hop Shop – boutique beer & wine supplier that stocks small quantities of unique & seasonal rotating selection – got us through Covid! Diva Espresso for coffee, Halal burger & fish/chips, Gyro time, Ethiopian restaurant w/event space in the back.
- We love to cook & the kitchen had an amazing and functional layout. Having 2 ovens was amazing when we got into serious baking or cooking mode – our microwave is also a convection oven as well. There's a newer Fisher & Paykel refrigerator too.
- This home has a surprising amount of space for a townhome with a wider floorplan. We both worked remotely (much of the time) & enjoyed having multiple workspace options so it was easy to get work done without disturbing one another.
- It was so easy to ride mass transit as there are so many options including light rail from Northgate Station, Rapid Ride D & E lines and buses.
- Efficient storage – there was plenty of space for our “stuff.”
- We have such great neighbors – they are supportive and fun but not intrusive. Every summer we have a fun BBQ.
- Close to a neighborhood pea patch or a quick trip to Carkeek Park where you can see chum salmon spawn in the fall!
- While there is only 1 parking spot on site, there has always been plenty of street parking nearby.
